Bay Area Rapid Transit announced Friday that there is currently no BART service due to a systemwide computer equipment failure.
According to BART, a computer equipment problem following network upgrade work is preventing the start of service this morning.
The agency says to consider alternate means of transportation. Use the BART Trip Planner on bart.gov or the BART app to find transit alternatives based on your location by deselecting BART in “transit options.” View a map of bus and ferry alternatives at bart.gov/transbayalts
UPDATE:
Regular service was restored throughout the system at 11:45am this morning. All BART stations are open. There are residual delays systemwide. BART restored limited East Bay service at approximately 9:30am.
