On Tuesday, Oakley Mayor Shannon Shaw called for a censure of Councilmember George Fuller after conduct directed at staff.
The item will be returned with details at a future meeting after the item was seconded by Councilmember Anissa Williams.
“Based on recent conduct directed at staff, I am asking for a future agenda item to censure of Councilmember George Fuller,” stated Shaw.
City Attorney Derek Cole asked about timing in which Shaw said she was prepared to bring forward a document as quickly as he would allow—she did not disclose what occurred or what would be in the document.
Fuller was recently re-elected in November 2024 with 41.37% (1,259) of the vote after Cristina Pena Langley (1,136) and Oleskii Chuiko split the vote allowing Fuller to continue serving on the city council.
