Oakley, CA – The City of Oakley is proud to announce the return of The Makers Boulevard, a premier artisan makers market, to Downtown Oakley. Beginning this fall, the market will take place every fourth Sunday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, offering a vibrant open-air experience that features a curated mix of local artisan makers, designers, artists, and service-based businesses.
“The Makers Boulevard has become an inspiring platform that celebrates creativity and Oakley’s entrepreneurship. We are excited to partner with Katie Rogina and her team to bring this one-of-a-kind market to the heart of Oakley,” said Josh McMurray, City Manager. “Our downtown is buzzing with energy as new businesses open, community events take root, and exciting projects take shape. With plans underway for a new Amtrak platform and more opportunities on the horizon, this market is the perfect way for our community to connect, celebrate local talent, and enjoy everything that makes Oakley such a dynamic place to live, work, shop, and visit.”
The market will be located at the downtown parking area on Newman Lane (south side), between Main Street and Journey Way in front of the newly built shopping center, Mercantile Building at 3350 Main Street. With its central location, easy transit access, and walkability to surrounding businesses, the market is poised to be a lively hub of community connection and creativity.
“We’re excited to relaunch The Makers Boulevard in Downtown Oakley, centrally located near shops, restaurants, and the city park. We look forward to welcoming the community each month to enjoy a curated selection of artisan vendors, live music, kids’ activities, and more, as we bring people together to celebrate local creativity and connection,” said Katie Rogina, Founder of The Makers Boulevard.
Local makers, artists, and designers interested in being featured at upcoming monthly markets are encouraged to connect with The Makers Boulevard team for participation opportunities.
