San Ramon: 3 More Arrests Made in Heller Jewelers Robbery

The San Ramon Police Department announced three more arrests have been made in an armed robbery takeover of Heller Jewelers on Sept. 22. The total arrests stand at 10.

Police said that on September 30, at 6:00 am, the San Ramon Police Department Investigations Division, the Organized Retail Theft Suppression Team, along with San jose Police, Milpitas Police, ATF and the FBI, conducted a multi-agency joint operation to serve several arrests and search warrants in connection to the robbery.

The large-scale operation as conducted because of several investigations involving takeover robberies throughout the Bay Area. This operation resulted in arrests of three additional suspects and additional evidence related to the robbery of Heller Jewelers.

The suspects were identified as:

  1. Angel Herrera, 21 of Pacifica
  2. Toddisha Mayfield, 31 of San Leandro
  3. Zakhari Blue-Gorden, 23 of East Palo Alto

Along with the arrests, items of evidence were located during multiple search warrants further linking the suspects to the Heller Jewelers robbery. IN addition to the items of evidence, there was a large amount of US currency and four kilograms of suspected cocaine located inside one of the home of Hererra. San Ramon Police said they will be working on filing charges with the District Attorney.

  2. Jimmy Ray (27, Vallejo)
  3. Ira Austin (19, Oakland)
  4. Jahkeal McGolthin (18, Oakland)
  5. Jacques Samuel (18, Oakland)
  6. Deandre Demisse (19, Oakland)
  7. 17-year-old juvenile (Oakland)

The Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office previously announced charges for:

  • Michael Ray (31, Oakland)
  • Ira Austin (19, Oakland)
  • Jimmy Ray (27, Vallejo)
