A complete road closure of Bailey Road will begin Thursday night between 9:00 pm and 5:00 am Friday between the City of Concord and City of Pittsburg.
According to the City of Concord, Bailey Road Closure for Striping Work on Bailey Road from Myrtle Drive to Willow Ave in Pittsburg, this Thursday, October 9, between 9:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m.
A full road closure will be in place during these overnight hours. This work was originally scheduled for October 2 but was postponed due to the weather.
Advance signage is posted in Concord and Pittsburg. Please follow the detours shown on posted signs and maps.
Once the striping is complete, this will conclude project work on Bailey Road.

Oct 1: Concord to Pittsburg: Roadwork Scheduled for Bailey Road
The City of Concord announced more roadwork is scheduled for Bailey Road on October 2 from 9:00 pm to 5:00 am on October 3 for striping.
The Street Maintenance Project No. 1 will be performing striping improvements on Bailey Road from Myrtle Drive to northern City limits. This striping work is scheduled to occur between 9 p.m. Thursday, 10/2 to 5 a.m. Friday, 10/3.
This overnight work will result in a full road closure. These work hours were specifically chosen to avoid the morning and afternoon commute hours for residents in the nearby areas.

The City of Pittsburg also confirmed Bailey Road will be closed from Willow Avenue in Pittsburg to Myrtle Drive in Concord.
The work comes after construction occurred Sept 7-18: Concord To Close Bailey Road For Night Paving Work. That work resulted in full road closure between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m.
