BRENTWOOD, Calif., JLL today announced that Slice House by Tony Gemignani, the award-winning fast-casual pizza franchise founded by 13-time world pizza champion Tony Gemignani, has signed a 2,259 square-foot lease at The Streets of Brentwood, marking the brand’s first East Bay location outside downtown Walnut Creek.
The lease represents a significant milestone for The Streets of Brentwood, which was purchased last year by CenterCal Properties with plans to re-merchandise and reposition the property. The project recently broke ground on a comprehensive redevelopment that will reposition the 360,000-square-foot open-air shopping center in East Contra Costa County’s premier shopping, dining, and entertainment destination.

Originating from San Francisco’s North Beach neighborhood, Slice House blends artisan craftsmanship with fast-casual convenience. With multiple locations across California and national recognition as one of the top pizza brands in the U.S., Slice House continues to expand under JLL’s guidance as its preferred brokerage.

Located on an exterior-facing end cap near the project’s main entrance and featuring a spacious patio, the Brentwood Slice House will anchor the next chapter of The Streets of Brentwood’s evolution as a vibrant community destination.
As part of the redevelopment, CenterCal is introducing a curated mix of tenants that includes Barnes & Noble, Dutch Bros Coffee, and Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream. The project will also feature The Patio at The Streets of Brentwood, a reimagined public gathering space with shaded seating, a large event lawn, and vibrant landscaping designed to create a welcoming atmosphere for visitors.
