The City of Martinez announced free parking for the rest of 2026.
According to the city: This holiday season, we’re making it even easier to shop local! Enjoy FREE PARKING starting November 27, 2025, through the end of the year while you explore the amazing shops and businesses in downtown Martinez. Find unique gifts, enjoy festive vibes, and support your community as you spread some local cheer!
All metered public parking in the downtown area will be free for use. Please still respect Private Parking signs and No Parking areas. Free parking will extend through January 4, 2026, and regular rates and use of the meters will resume Monday, January 5, 2026.
