It was quite the year for The Speakeasy Baking Co who walked away with 30 first places ribbons at the State Fair for Canning and Baking. Now, entering Christmas time, they offer some of the best seasonal cookies around — especially their elf’s, if you can find one.
In June, BrieAnna Arteaga-Marcel, owner of Speakeasy Baking Co, shared they had 30 first place finishes, 9 second places finishes and 8 third place cookies. There were 1,238 entries in total at the State Fair.
But don’t worry, if you follow them on Facebook or Instagram, they will let you know about their upcoming cookie drops, and the flavors, which are some of your favorite local places like Big House Beans, Smiths Family Farms, McCauley Vineyard, The Playhouse or others.
Currently, they are offering popup and Seasonal Pre-orders & Home Delivery, with a special class on December 23
Our annual daytime pajama party with Mrs. Brie is always a fun time, and has become a holiday tradition for many youngsters in the East Bay. Come test your skills and decorate some cookies for Santa! This is a great class to do with friends or with cousins! We offer complimentary snacks and drinks for all who attend. There’s even a hot cocoa bar!
If you aren’t familiar with our Kid’s Club cookie decorating classes, this is what you can expect:
Classes are good for all ages, toddlers, kids, pre-teens, teens and parents too! Each session is 45 minutes long and is primarily self-lead.
Mrs. Brie will be there to help guide you along the way and show you tips and tricks of the trade. Mrs. Brie is a professional cookie artist and appeared on The Food Network’s 2023 Christmas Cookie Challenge.

Take and go decorating kits are available for pick up between 10 am and 4 pm.
Please make sure to reserve your cookie decorating kits early, so that we may have enough for everyone that wants one. Cookie kits may or may not be available for purchase on 12/23/25.
