Antioch Man Arrested in Pleasant Hill for Mail Theft

The Pleasant Hill Police Department reports they have arrested an Antioch man in connection with early-morning mail theft in the City of Pleasant Hill.

According to police, at approximently 2:00 am Tuesday, officers paroling the area of Putnam Blvd near Belle Ave located a subject walking in the area. After some investigation Ryan Fox, 37 of Antioch, was arrested for outstanding warrants and mail theft. Officers will work on returning the mail to the residents.

Pleasant Hill Police suggest while its not required, locking mailboxes approves by USPS as a deterrent against mail theft.
