On Tuesday, it was confirmed that Sean McCauley will potentially purchase the Brentwood Golf Club.
According to preliminary information, McCauley is currently in early negotiations with Rex, and the current ownership, to acquire the 18-hole golf course, nine-hole abandoned course, event center, restaurant, bar, and pro shop—the Brentwood Golf Club.
According to McCauley, his vision is to restore and elevate the property into a true destination for West Brentwood and the surrounding region.
He says, “Brentwood deserves to have this amenity returned to its original status, or better. We believe it can once again become a point of pride for the community. We are confident the negotiations will move forward positively and that our team has the experience, discipline, and vision to make this happen.”
He added, the residents of Somerset, Trilogy and surrounding neighborhoods deserve a high-quality lifestyle amenity, and our goal is to bring it back to the standard they expect and deserve. It won’t be easy, but he has complete faith in our team to get it done.
It is unclear when, if, McCauley will close the deal but negotiations continued as of Tuesday.
