On January 28, 2026, the California Highway Patrol’s (CHP) Northern Foreign Export and Recovery (NoFEAR) Team successfully executed three residential search warrants.
The operation was supported by the CHP’s Contra Costa Area office, Golden Gate Division (GGD) Warrant Service Team, GGD Crime Suppression Team, as well as the Brentwood Police Department, Antioch Police Department, and US Marshals Service. The coordinated effort targeted individuals and locations connected to auto theft, firearms violations, and active felony warrants.
Throughout the operation, all three warrants were executed without incident. Investigators recovered four firearms, several high-capacity magazines, a substantial amount of ammunition, one stolen vehicle, and multiple electronic devices believed to be relevant to ongoing investigations. Additionally, three individuals were taken into custody for outstanding felony arrest warrants.
Due to ongoing investigations, the suspects’ identities are not being released.
The operation highlights the strength of interagency collaboration and the effectiveness of careful pre-operational planning. The seamless cooperation between state, local, and federal law enforcement partners was critical to ensuring officer safety and mission success. The recovery of illegal firearms and stolen property significantly contributes to public safety and the ongoing suppression of organized criminal activity within the region.
This enforcement action reflects the ongoing commitment of the NoFEAR Team and its partners to address complex criminal threats through proactive and coordinated strategies.
