1 Dead in Overnight Vasco Road Crash

The California Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash that cured on Vasco Road in Unincorporated Contra Costa County Wednesday night.

The crash occurred just before 10:30 pm when an adult male driver traveling northbound on Vasco Road from Livermore lost control and wraps his car around a light pole at the intersection of Camino Diablo and Vasco road. The male driver was pronounced deceased at the scene by Contra Costa County Fire paramedics. Contra Costa County Fire Protection District also responded to the scene.

According to CHP Officer Cartwright, he confirmed this was a solo vehicle fatality. He encouraged drivers to always use caution on the roadways and obey speed limits.
