Concord Asks for Input on Traffic Safety Plan, Traffic Data Provided

The City of Concord is asking residents to participate in an online survey to discuss traffic and safe streets.

Between Jan 2021 – Dec 2025, the City of Concord has had 1,804 total collisions with 20 fatalities according to data (see below)

The city reached out via social media asking if residents have noticed a traffic issue in your neighborhood? Want safer roads for everyone? They are asking residents to speak up. The City of Concord is developing a Comprehensive Safety Action Plan (CSAP) to reduce and prevent serious traffic injuries and fatalities—and your input is crucial!

Collision data sourced from the Transportation Injury Mapping System (TIMS) and Concord Police Department, January 2021 – December 2025. 2025 data is provisional.

  • Total Collisions: 1,804
  • Fatal Collisions: 19 (20 lives lost)
  • KSI (killed or severely injured): 164
  • Severe Injured: 145
