The City of Pittsburg has been made aware of phishing scams targeting residents through phone calls, text messages, social media, and email.

Please remember:

  • The City of Pittsburg will NEVER request payment by phone, text, email, or social media.
  • The City of Pittsburg will NEVER ask for payment using gift cards, wire transfers, or cryptocurrency.
  • Official payments are only made through our secure website or in person at authorized locations.
If you receive a suspicious message claiming to be from the City of Pittsburg, do not respond or provide personal information.
