On May 23, Whiskey Tango Foxtrot Restaurant released the following post on social media:
At approximately 1:06 AM this morning, our Whiskey Tango Foxtrot: Bar & Grill Antioch location was vandalized by an individual who threw rocks at the front of our restaurant, breaking three front windows and damaging our front entrance door, causing significant damage to our property.
At this time, we are unsure of the individual’s exact intent or whether there was an attempt to gain entry. However, after speaking with members of our team, we’ve been informed that this same individual has reportedly been seen lingering and behaving suspiciously around our Antioch location on multiple occasions in the past.
Today, we will be working with the Antioch Police Department to help identify this individual. Our goal is not only to protect our business, but to help keep our employees, guests, neighboring businesses, and the greater Antioch community safe.
This incident comes at an especially difficult time, as we prepare for Memorial Weekend and Memorial Day — one of the most meaningful weekends of the year for us as a restaurant built around honoring those who serve. The damage sustained means we will now have to board up portions of the front of our restaurant while repairs are made, creating an unexpected setback during a weekend dedicated to serving our community.
We are sharing photos from the aftermath, as well as the best images of the man we could capture. If you recognize this individual or have any information that may help.
To our community: thank you for continuing to support local businesses through moments like these. We remain committed to serving Antioch and standing strong despite setbacks.
Please share this post to help us identify the individual involved and continue protecting our local businesses and community.
