Orinda’s Summer Series Returns with Concerts, Movies and Local Bites

The City of Orinda is announcing its Thursday Nights lineup for 2026, with a rotating schedule of live bands and family-friendly movie nights at Orinda Community Park beginning June 4.

On June 18, the much-anticipated Good Time Collective will be performing from 6-8 p.m. with food trucks open from 5-8 p.m.

Thursday Nights in Orinda offer a free, high-impact way for community members to support the local economy and East Bay artists. We’re available to coordinate with you on advance coverage, a live segment and/or interviews with city staff.

  • June 4 – The Kate Burkart Band
  • June 11 – The Lion King (movie)
  • June 18 – The Good Time Collective Band
  • July 9 – Lamorinda Idol
  • July 16 – Zootopia (movie)
  • July 23  – Opera in the Park
  • Aug 6 – Savage Title
  • Aug 20 – Despicable Me (movie)
  • Aug 27 – Sixteen Scandals
  • Sept 3 – Mixed Nuts Band
  • Sept. 17 – Tom and the Broken Hearts
  • Oct 1 – The Freestone Peaches

This event offers a great opportunity for community interest and visuals, including:

  • Families and neighbors gathering for an outdoor summer night
  • Live music and dancing in the park
  • Local food trucks and community engagement
  • A spotlight on East Bay arts and entertainment
