The Antioch Police Department announced the arrest of five people in connection with retail theft at Target in the City of Antioch.
According to police, they teamed up with the Target Corporation for a proactive enforcement operation at our local Target store. The mission was clear: disrupt organized retail crime, stop ongoing theft, and keep our shopping centers safe through proactive surveillance and rapid intervention.
Police called the operation a success as they removed a dangerous weapon and multiple offenders from the streets.
The Results:
- 3 Felony arrests
- 2 Misdemeanor arrests
- Approx. $1,000 in stolen merchandise recovered
- 1 Illegally possessed, loaded handgun seized.
According to the Antioch Police RIMS website, it showed the arrests occurred on June 4, 2026.

This arrest announcement comes days after police also announced a VSET arrest data from a May 21 operation – 6 felony arrests, 4 recovered illegal firearms.
This week, Antioch Police will presenting its Q2 data (Jan – May) to the Antioch City Council which show an increase in calls for service and reports taken.
