Get ready for Fathers Day weekend fun in the City of Martinez as the King of the County BBQ Music Festival is set to return June 19-21 at the Martinez Waterfront Park.
This is the 18th annual King of the County BBQ Music Festival and it aims to bring the whole community together. This all in one outdoor festival by the Martinez Chamber of Commerce features FREE admission and FREE parking, so everyone can join in on the fun. Enjoy live music, kids rides and activities, arts and craft vendors, tasty snack booths, and of course, some of the best BBQ you will find anywhere. Come hungry and stay for the good times!
According to the chamber, the BBQ competition draws 30-40 local Backyard BBQ Teams over the 2-day event. Many of our competitors are local family teams that return every year in hopes of taking the coveted title of “King of the County!” — interested in applying, click here.
