Martinez, CA — Contra Costa County Assessor Gus Kramer is pleased to announce the official completion and delivery of the 2026–2027 Assessment Roll to the County Auditor-Controller, as required by law. This annual milestone provides a comprehensive snapshot of the assessed value of all taxable property within the County.
The 2026–2027 Assessment Roll reports a total net assessed value of nearly $300.80 billion, representing an increase of $10.14 billion—or 3.48%—over the previous year. This marks the highest total assessed value in the County’s history, underscoring the region’s continued economic vitality and growth.
Cities leading in percentage increases include:
- Oakley: +4.44%
- Danville: +4.41%
More modest gains were observed in:
- Pinole: +2.07%
- San Pablo: +1.82%
The total number of assessed parcels now stands at 383,191, reflecting an increase of 1,169 parcels over the prior year. This growth highlights ongoing development and sustained investment across Contra Costa County.
