EL CERRITO, CA: The City of El Cerrito and worldOne invite the community to the 2026 4th of July Festival, a beloved local tradition that brings more than 10,000 residents, families, and visitors together for a day of live music, food, carnival rides, and community connection.
This year’s festival carries special significance, marking both the 250th anniversary of American independence and the 175th anniversary of California statehood.
The festival features performances from around the world on the worldOne Stage, interactive activities for all ages, a wide variety of food offerings, local artisans and vendors, and informational booths hosted by civic organizations and community nonprofits. Admission is free, and the event remains one of El Cerrito’s most anticipated community celebrations of the year.
“This festival is about coming together as a community to celebrate our shared history and the diversity that makes El Cerrito special,” said Recreation Director Chris Jones. “We are grateful to this year’s sponsors, whose generosity keeps this celebration admission free and accessible to everyone.”
