The Richmond Police Department is investigating a double shooting that occurred Wednesday night in the 400 block of Wilson Avenue.
According to police, they said there were two victims with one victim being been airlifted to a local trauma center for medical treatment. They added the area remains an active crime scene we are asking the public to please stay out of the area.If you witnessed the incident or have any information that may assist investigators, please contact the Richmond Police Department at (510) 233-1214.
Police released no other information on the incident, the time of the shooting or if any suspects were arrested.
