On Thursday, the Mt. Diablo Resource Recovery officially opened its new building as they held a ribbon cutting celebrating their move — which occurred June 1.
Mt. Diablo Resource Recovery is now located at 1070 Laurel Road, Oakley, CA 94561 (the former BAC Bank building) which is a strategic move that places them closer to the downtown, more centralized and provides a larger lobby and dedicated parking. The 85 Carol Lane location is now closed.
The Laurel Road location now provides all services, including drop-box payments, in-lobby payments, and residential household battery recycling drop-offs, will continue as normal at 85 Carol Lane right up until moving day.
“MDRR’s business is built upon customer service and community engagement. We’re so excited to open this beautiful new East County office as a venue where we can continue the mission,” said Kish Rajan, CEO of MDRR.
Please note: Concord, Pittsburg, and Rio Vista locations remain open and unaffected by this move.
