On Monday, Brentwood Raley’s on Sand Creek Road confirmed it will close in November as the company continues its series of closures.
Workers were informed Monday morning.
According to Chelsea Carbahal with Raleys, she confirmed the closure which will occur on November 3, 2026 after serving the Brentwood community for 24 years. The following statement was provided.
“These decisions are never easy, but they reflect our commitment to responsibly stewarding a company that has served customers, supported communities, and created opportunities for more than 90 years. We continually evaluate where we can best invest to serve our communities, support our team members, and strengthen our business. A variety of factors contributed to this closure, including local market conditions and the long-term financial sustainability of this location. Thoughtful stewardship sometimes means opening stores, and sometimes it means making difficult decisions to close them. These decisions are part of the same disciplined approach that guides investments across our business, including our planned Madera store opening in March 2027. This approach ensures Raley’s remains strong and well-positioned to serve customers and communities for generations to come. Our focus now is on supporting our team members, customers, and communities throughout the transition.”
In April, Raley’s closed the Antioch location (2748 Lone Tree Way) which had been in operation since 1979, that building remains vacant in the City of Antioch. They also closed their Mountain View Nob Hill Foods (1250 Grant Road) after nearly 20 years while their Roseville Raley’s (1915 Douglas Blvd) closed in January after 34 years.
No other information on the closure in the City of Brentwood was released.
