BRENTWOOD, CA —For the artists who participate in P.A.I.N.T. Art Collective’s programs in Brentwood, art is much more than something to do. It is a way to express themselves, connect with others, build confidence and have their creativity recognized.
Now, after just 18 months, those artists are taking their work beyond their local community and into the broader Bay Area arts scene.
P.A.I.N.T. Art Collective will celebrate its first Benefit Evening and Art Exhibition, “Every Voice, Every Vision,” on Thursday, September 3, 2026, at the Sausalito Center for the Arts. The exhibition will continue from September 2–7, including Labor Day weekend.
P.A.I.N.T.’s work is rooted in its programs and day-center community in Brentwood, where artists of all abilities have a welcoming environment in which to create and develop their artistic voices.
Since opening its Sausalito gallery 18 months ago, P.A.I.N.T. has grown into an active creative community, presenting exhibitions, participating in community events throughout Marin, hosting seasonal drop-in workshops, bringing hands-on art experiences to Jazz by the Bay, offering customized workshops for people of all abilities, and welcoming guest artists to share their creativity. The organization’s first benefit is both a celebration of that progress and an investment in what comes next.
From Brentwood to the Bay Area arts community The “Every Voice, Every Vision” benefit will bring together artists, supporters and the wider community for an evening of art, live music, food, wine and celebration, highlighting the creativity and accomplishments of artists of all abilities.
The September 3 event will feature an exhibition of artwork by P.A.I.N.T. artists, live music, and bites and drinks from B.A.B.E. “Every contribution—whether through sponsorship, attendance, artwork or a donation—helps us continue creating opportunities where every artist is welcomed, valued and celebrated,” says Leslie Freitas, Gallery Director of P.A.I.N.T. Art Collective.
For P.A.I.N.T., the benefit is not simply about raising funds. It is about bringing the artists and their work into the wider community and changing perceptions about what artists with disabilities can accomplish when they have access to creative opportunities and a place to be seen. 18 months of growth Since opening its doors, P.A.I.N.T. has expanded its programming well beyond its original vision

The September exhibition offers the public an opportunity to see the results of that work firsthand. “Every Voice, Every Vision” is an invitation to celebrate artists for their creativity—not their limitations—and to recognize the importance of making space for every artistic voice.
