Man Rescued With Help of US Coast Guard in Bay Point

At approximently 1:30 pm Saturday, the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District was dispatched to a report of a person in the water in the 1000 block of Mcavoy Road in Bay Point.

CONFIRE responded and began organizing a water rescue that included the US Coast Guard and Contra Costa County Sheriffs Office.

The man was ultimately rescued as the US Coast Guard lifted the man to safety and was evaluated by paramedics.
