The Antioch Police Department released a suspect photograph of a February 23 robbery at Smart and Final.
According to police, on February 23rd, 2023, officers responded to Smart and Final located at 2638 Somserville Road for the report of an armed robbery. The pictured female was described as a Caucasian female, approx. 5 feet-5 feet 3 inches tall, 25-30 years old, 190-200 pounds, with brown hair. She was wearing light jeans, a “Looney Toones” shirt and had a black fanny pack and black purse.
The pictured vehicle was also associated with her and is possibly a white Chevrolet Suburban with a black roof rack.

Antioch police did not share any information on how much “the take” was, weapon used, or if anyone was injured.
UPDATE –
Per Antioch Police, the female used a handgun in the robbery. The take was alcohol and no injuries were reported.

The City of Antioch has been hit with more than 50 business burglaries in 2023 which has prompted an open letter to the community from the Antioch Police Department to the community vowing to be better while stating they are working on improving staffing levels. The next day Muscle Maker Grill and Tailgaters Sports Bar and Grill, both had windows shattered and a suspect who made entry into the businesses and burglarized.
