Male Shot Twice in Wednesday Night Shooting in Pittsburg

At 8:46 pm Wednesday, Pittsburg Police responded to a report of a male who was shot in the back in the area of Highway 4 and Loveridge within the City of Pittsburg.

By 8:52 pm, the male was located near Loveridge and the Pittsburg-Antioch Highway while in a vehicle. Police said the male was shot twice in the lower back. He was conscious and breathing.

It was reported the shooting occurred at an unknown location east of the Pittsburg-Antioch Highway at Loveridge near the railroad tracks with the suspect in an unknown color F-150 truck. Suspect is a Hispanic male with no further description.

By 9:02 pm, Pittsburg Police possibly located the shooting location as shell casings were located.
