Man Arrested With $3k in Stolen Goods from San Ramon Target

San Ramon Make Arrest after retail theft

The San Ramon Police Department announced the arrest of a San Francisco man in connection with a shoplift.

According to police, patrol Officers received a call from Target loss prevention agents that a shoplifter was in the store. Patrol units converged on the area and detained the suspect identified by store staff as he exited the store.

Police identified the suspect as Waiching Leung, 42 of San Francisco, and said he had stolen more than $3,000 in merchandise.

He was arrested and provided a ride to the Martinez jail where he was booked on felony charges.

No other information was release.
