“Pawstoberfest” will offer various dog-related activities and festivities on Saturday, October 28th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Veteran’s Park in Brentwood, CA. Admission is FREE, and all donations and proceeds will directly support RDR’s ongoing rescue operations for homeless, abused, and/or abandoned dogs in the East Bay Area. This inaugural year’s Pawstoberfest attractions will include food and beverage vendors; craft beers and local wines; local artisan, business, and nonprofit tables/booths; puppy pen; doggie costume contest and parade; live music, lawn games (for both dogs and humans!); raffle prizes, and much more. People can attend Pawstoberfest whether registered or not, although the first 250 people to register online will receive a free commemorate beer mug or wine glass, which can be picked up at the RDR check-in booth on the day of the event.
