Nov 14 – Helping One Woman Discovery Bay Honoring Alicia Stevens

Tickets are on sale through Friday November 10! Over 100 woman are already joining us. Be a part of a special evening with friends and support a local woman in need.

My name is Alicia Stevens, proud mom of one of the most amazing humans on the planet, Tyler. Tyler has always been
a very sweet and caring young boy. When he was little, he dreamed of saving the world through clean energy and
science. Last December he was a swimmer, training to try to join one of the best swim teams in the area. He dreamed of
being an engineer and had an idea to make propellers that would go in people’s plumbing and harnessing that energy to
power their homes. He was a leader who helped start one of the most popular clubs at his middle school where he
taught everyone to play Dungeons and Dragons. He is one of the sweetest children you could ever meet.

On January 1, 2023, we received a terminal cancer diagnosis for Tyler for the deadliest kids’ cancer. This is a cancer
with a 0% survival rate and an average life expectancy of 9 months. But as always, Tyler is surpassing the average. He
is currently on his 10th month since diagnosis and is still living and doing everything in his power to enjoy life. We
have desperately been trying to give him the year he deserves and to create memories and experiences that will help
him as well as the whole family to get through this awful tragedy. We have had a reduction in income, as he takes full
time care and we have had added expenses with driving to his doctors’ appointments in San Francisco etc. As a mom, I
am devastated. I would do anything to take this from him.
