Voting Open For Water Awareness Youth Art Contest

The Contra Costa Water District announced that voting is now open for its Youth Art Contest. Limit one ballot per person. Voting closes at 5 p.m. Wednesday, June 12.

Currently, there are 90 images to select from, you are being asked to select 12 which will make up its calendar.

Winning entries receive a $75 gift card, their artwork framed with a certificate of appreciation, and advance copies of the calendar.  Entries were submitted by the youths who live in our service area. Winners will be featured in our 2025 wall calendar. Limit one ballot per person. Voting closes at 5 p.m. Wednesday, June 12.

This year, entries were asked to show how you use water at home or in the community. Talk to your family and friends to find out why tap water is important to them. Be creative!

How do you and your family use water? Draw your answer and be creative! Water is used for:

  • Hydration
  • Swimming
  • Watering the yard
  • Cooking and cleaning
  • Preparing food
  • and much more
