On April 30, 2024, Walnut Creek Police Detectives arrested Kevin Osborne for sexual assault of a minor under the age of 10. This case was reported to Walnut Creek Police several weeks ago, and a thorough investigation was completed. The charges in this case stem from incidents that occurred 15-20 years ago. Once Osborne was taken into custody, the case was then presented to the Contra Costa County District Attorney for review.

The District Attorney filed the above charges, and Osborne remains in custody at Contra Costa County Jail on a bail of $3,300,000.

Given the nature of the allegations and the nature of the case, there may be other individuals whom the same suspect sexually assaulted. Because it is possible there are other victims, we are releasing a photo of Osborne.
