The Antioch Police Department announced Monday that an arrest has been made in a November 12 assault at the Habit Burger in the City of Antioch. The suspect was identified as Isaac White-Carter, 20 of Hayward.
The attack left Bianca Palomera without a right eye according to relatives after a man attacked her as she attempted to kick a man out for bullying a special needs child. The man made threats and then physically assaulted her—this prompted the family to start a GoFundMe page.

We’re asking everyone in the ANTIOCH AREA and surrounding areas to help bring justice!.
My sister was brutally attacked on Saturday November 12th at around 5:00 p.m. m. at 5:30 p.m. m. at The Habit Burger Grill in Antioch off Mahogany Way and Sycamore Avenue for a male possibly between the ages of 16 and 21. We hope someone can identify the attacker or one of the people who accompanied him.
The physical altercation occurred after my sister witnessed a man and (3) others harass a special needs child in the restaurant lobby. When she asked the man to stop harassing the child and to leave the establishment. The man proceeded to make threats and ended up physically assaulting her and then proceeded to flee in a gray BMW SUV with (3) other people.
As a result of the attack, she was urgently moved to a nearby trauma center where she underwent emergency surgery. Unfortunately, he suffered irreversible injuries that cost him losing his right eye entirely. Hopefully he is now in stable condition.
We are currently requesting for the public’s help in identifying the following people of interest. P A S ! We need justice for my sister.
It’s barbaric that not only a man puts his hands on a woman. But to the extent it was and the amount of damage it caused. She was just trying to do the right thing and keep a special needs person from being bullied.
We want to thank you in advance and ask you to stand in our skin and do justice for her.
Thank you!’

The Antioch Police Department announced via “Tweet” that they will host a news conference later Monday with details.
