Update: Vasco Road Lanes Open After Vehicle Crash Prompts SIGALERT

At 3:43 pm Monday, Contra Costa County Fire Protection District responded to a report of an overturned vehicle crash on Vasco road two-miles east of the county line.

At 4:00 pm, it was reported the vehicle had two adults and two minors. A total of two medical helicopters were requested and two AMR units to the scene, however, they were still determining patient care.

As of 4:08 pm, a SIGALERT was issued as northbound lanes were blocked.

4:17 PM UPDATE
CONFIRE reported 1 patient was going to be transported by medical helicopter.

4:19 PM UPDATE
CONFIRE stated that all patients would be ground transported and to cancel all air ambulances. A third AMR unit was requested to the scene.

All lanes now open
