Pinole Bowling Alley Shooting Suspect Arrested

The Pinole Police Department announced that they have arrested Sirjantz Moliga, 19, in connection with the March 27 shooting at the AMF Pinole Valley Lanes.

The arrest was made on December 12 where investigators identified Moliga as the suspect through witness statements and video surveillance. With the assistance of the US Marshals Service, Moliga was located in the City of Hayward, CA, and taken into custody.

Police said in a press release on March 28 that they responded at 8:15 pm on a report of several shots fired at the Pinole Valley Lanes. Officers arrived and found two victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Police said during their investigation, they discovered that two groups of people got into an argument inside the bowling alley, the argument continued into the parking lot where the suspect fired multiple rounds striking two victims and several vehicles. The victims were taken to area hospitals where they were treated and released.

Moliga was booked into the Martinez Detention Facility for attempted murder (PC 664-187), assault with a deadly weapon- firearm (PC 245(a)(2) and carrying a concealed weapon (PC 25400(a)(2).
