One person was killed in an apparent vehicle versus pedestrian collision in Pacheco Wednesday night.
The incident came in at 8:50 p.m. with two people down at Marsh Drive and Aria. One person was declared deceased at the scene and it is unknown if the second person was injured or what their condition is.
5:00 pm CHP UPDATE: Hit and run fatality on Marsh Drive near Concord
Last night (12/21/22) at about 8:50pm, CHP Contra Costa was advised of a vehicle vs. pedestrian crash on Marsh Drive near Aria Drive. At the time of the crash, a pedestrian was standing outside of her parked vehicle(dodge caliber). An unknown vehicle traveling northbound on Marsh Drive struck the pedestrian and the parked Dodge. The driver of the suspect vehicle did not stop and fled the scene, continuing north on Marsh Drive. The pedestrian sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene by emergency medical personnel.
