Join Keller Williams East County for Red Day as they chose the Antioch Animal Shelter to support with its annual day of service.
This year, they will host a drive thru drop off loop May 11 between 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at 300 L Street in Antioch. To support the Antioch Animal Shelter, they are always in need of the following items:
- Canned Cat Food – Pate
- Canned Dog Food – Pate
- Kitten Milk Replacer – KMR Kitten Formula
- Bottles/Nipples for kitten feeding
- Pill Packets for both dogs and cats
- Frontline Gold for dogs – Large size 84lbs+
- Revolution for Cats
- Old towels, blankets, flat sheets – preferably nothing with stuffing, i.e. comforters, pillows, etc.

Every second Thursday of May, Keller Williams agents, leadership members and associates from around the globe step away from daily business & duties proudly donning their KW gear and venture into the community they serve with three goals:
- Renew
- Energize
- Donate
There will be a drive thru drop off from 10am to 1pm where members of the community can bring donations to the shelter parking lot at 300 L St.
The KW RED team will be giving the Animal Services lobby and other areas of the shelter a much needed makeover.
About Antioch Animal Services
Animal Services is dedicated to promoting animal welfare and public awareness which results in humans and animals living together in harmony.
The Antioch Animal Services Center is responsible for the enforcement of Local and State Laws relating to the care, control, and protection of animals and of our citizens. Officers’ responsibilities include picking up and confining stray, sick, injured, vicious and dead animals; issuance of dog licenses; patrolling the City streets; control of animal nuisance problems and animal euthanasia. The Animal Shelter also provides adoption, volunteer, and education programs.
All the animals are housed indoors in a heated/air conditioned facility.
Special features include:
- A room in which prospective pet owners can meet and interact with the animals
- A fenced exercise yard

- Tuesday through Saturday 10:00 am- 5:00 pm
- Closed – Sunday, Monday, all City Observed Holidays and the regular day of business after a holiday.
To better serve our customers, we operate on an appointment only basis for anyone needing services, such as, the purchase of a city dog license, adoption of a new pet, or the redemption of a lost pet. Although the Animal Shelter will be open to the public during the hours of operation listed above, priority for services will be given to those who have an appointment.
