Pittsburg Police Arrest Antioch Man in 2007 Cold Case Murder
The Pittsburg Police Department announced an arrest in a 16-year-old cold case where a Pittsburg man was killed. According to police, nearly 16 years after the killing of a Pittsburg man, DNA evidence has led to the arrest of his killer. On June 7th 2023, Pittsburg Police Department detectives arrested 40-year-old Desante Blake of Antioch for the 2007 murder of Larry Abercrombie. Full Story – click here
Mini Van Intentionally Set on Fire After vehicle Crash in Pittsburg
The Pittsburg Police Department is investigating a Monday morning vehicle crash which resulted in a man setting a vehicle on fire. The call came in at approximately 7:40 am at N Parkside and Rose Ann Ave where a person reported a vehicle crash involving a mini van and a white pickup truck. The caller then reported a male got out of a truck and intentionally it set on fire. Full Story – click here
