On July 7, La Concordia Wellness Center will be hosting its 3-year anniversary and is aiming to raise $10,000 to assist in its program offerings.
They are looking to raise $10,000 to continue providing therapy to those who cannot afford mental health access, at low-cost or no-cost fees. Their theme “It’s Always a Good Time to Talk About Mental Health,” will be honored by our keynote speakers Congressman Mark DeSaulnier and Dr. Manuel Fernandez. In addition, our board has elected to recognize and honor Ms. Isabel Lara as our Local Hero, who has been fighting towards providing resources for low-income communities.
The event will begin at 6:00 PM on Friday, July 7. The entry fee for the event is $35.00 per person, which also counts as a donation towards our cause. There are additional options for donations which highlight our ability in providing therapy sessions – as one therapy session starts at $150.
The event will include a silent auction component for those who wish to bid on specialty items. Online donations will be accepted at the event location.
