The Pittsburg Police Department is investigating a Friday shooting that left one person dead, another wounded and several vehicles struck by gunfire.
At approximately 5:15 pm, a vehicle showed up at the Pittsburg Police Department with one person wounded in the leg and another person with a gunshot to the head, who was later pronounced deceased. Police were focused in the area of Crestview as the shooting location, along with possibly shots fired on Railroad Avenue.
According to preliminary information, it appears part of the shooting scene occured at the Lido Square apartments where the crime scene is up. One of the cars was taped off cops said it was a innocent not involved car. It was also stated at least four vehicles were hit by gunfire.
Pittsburg Police have released no information on this incident and information is subject to change based on any update by the Pittsburg Police Department
