The Contra Costa Water District invites you to take a full day tour on October 19 or October 26.

Reserve your spot on a free bus tour of Contra Costa Water District. You’ll go behind the scenes to learn how this critical water infrastructure works! Note: Participants are asked to not attend if they are feeling sick.

Details

  • Tours begin in Concord at 8 a.m. sharp. We aim to return by 3:30 p.m.
  • All participants must ride on the bus. Attendees may not follow along in their own vehicle.
  • Lunch and light refreshments are provided.
  • Group bookings greater than two are not accepted.
  • This tour is in high demand. Please do not register for this tour if you’ve previously attended a CCWD tour.

Requirements

  • Attendees must live or work in Contra Costa Water District’s service area.
  • Attendees must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Attendees must be able to climb stairs and walk a fair amount throughout the day.

How to Dress

  • Attendees must wear comfortable closed-toe shoes.
  • Attendees are advised to wear layers, including long pants, long-sleeve shirts and jackets.
  • Depending on the weather, attendees may want to bring a hat and sunblock.
