UPDATE: BRENTWOOD PD OFFICERS ARREST RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY SUSPECTS

This Saturday around 8AM, Brentwood PD Dispatch received a call from the 2900 block of Spanish Bay, for a residential burglary that just occurred. The homeowner said that he caught two suspects burglarizing the home and he was chasing after both the female and male suspects.

While walking back to his residence the homeowner located a parked car unknown to the area, and when Brentwood officers arrived they located the female suspect, identified as 27 year-old Jasmine Miller of Vacaville, sitting in the car; she was subsequently taken into custody.

Officers continued to search the area with a drone and additional assistance from a Pittsburg PD K-9 Unit, however the second suspect was not found.

A few hours later, the victim called Dispatch again to report that he saw the male suspect in the immediate area. Officers circulated the area and located the male suspect, identified as 36 year-old Wesley Bush of Suisun City and he was taken into custody. The stolen property belonging to the homeowner was found inside the car Miller was sitting in, and returned.

Both Bush and Miller were placed under arrest for Burglary, Conspiracy to Commit a Crime, Possession of drugs and Drug Paraphernalia, and other related charges. The suspects were also charged with cutting the power lines to the home as well.

Had it not been for the determination and swift thinking of the victim, we may not have caught the suspects in time.
