Brentwood and Oakley Police Seek Robbery Suspect

by CC News

The Brentwood and Oakley Police Departments are looking for a robbery suspect who hit at least three gas stations Wednesday night.

At 7:20 PM a Hispanic adult male entered the 7-11 at Main and Empire and simulated having a gun. The male robbed the clerk of all of the money in the register. The suspect is further described as being 5’8”, wearing a black Adidas sweatshirt with a camouflage logo on it, black jeans, black shoes and a dark cloth over his face.

At 7:42 PM the same male entered the Chevron at Main and Cypress and again pulled off the same type of robbery. The suspect waited for all of the customers to leave the stores. No actual gun was seen but the suspect threatened to shoot if they didn’t give him the money. The suspect also had a note that he took with him.

Brentwood Police confirmed the same male robbed a Chevron in the City of Brentwood at 6:55 PM.

This is a public advisory message to all clerks and patrons of these types of stores in this general region to be on the lookout for this suspect and call 911 if he is seen in or around these types of stores.

Brentwood Safeway Also Robbed

At 8:25 pm Wednesday, Brentwood Police responded to the Safeway on Balfour after a suspect attempted to rob the store. A good Samaritan attempted to stop it and the suspects took off.

The good Samaritan tussled briefly with the suspect where they both went to the ground, however, the suspect fled.  No other information was provided on scene.

Note – While at scene of a robbery at Brentwood, Brentwood Police confirmed they were looking for the same suspect that hit the City of Oakley.
