The Antioch Police Department said two people were arrested Tuesday night for allegedly stealing a utility vehicle and tools from a cemetery.
According to the release, Officer Marques was driving around the city and located some suspicious activity on Minaker Drive. The vehicle was parked in the roadway. It was towing a trailer with a utility vehicle on it.
Officers Marques and Duff conducted a thorough investigation and learned the utility vehicle and tools that were inside the SUV, were stolen from one of the local cemeteries.
The locks to the front gate of the cemetery had been cut off.
Due to the work of Officers Marques and Duff, two men were sent to county jail for several theft related charges. The two men were not identified by police.
