Multiple Shots Fired on Country Hills Drive in Antioch

At approximently 7:00 pm Saturday, the Antioch Police Department responded to a shooting on Country Hills Drive at Ridgeview Drive in the City of Antioch.

Police did not locate any victims in the shooting thus no medical response was needed, however, police officers did recover at least six shell casings in what police are calling a possibly a road rage incident. He was treated by Contra Costa County firefighters and transported via AMR to an area hospital for treatment.

No other information was released.

Its been reported that in the last 72-hours, there have been at least six known shootings across the city. Its also being stated that several Tri Delta Transit buses have been shot at by either BB Guns or Pellet Guns. Tri Delta Transit has yet to release a statement on those incidents.

Check back for updates on these shootings as Antioch Police continue to investigate.

Back to back shootings in the same area doesn’t seem like a coincidence. Still just plain ridiculous.
