On August 8 at about 2:04pm, CHP Contra Costa was advised of a solo vehicle crash on Coggins Drive at Las Juntas Drive.
A black BMW sedan, with one occupant, was traveling eastbound on Coggins Drive when it left the roadway and collided with a raised concrete curb and two steel poles, which caused the BMW to overturn.
CHP and emergency personnel arrived on scene and the driver was pronounced deceased. This crash is still under investigation.
