The Lodi Police Department reports that on November 25 at approximately 11:15 PM, police responded to the 600 block of Hale Road on a report of a shooting that just occurred.
Officers arrived on-scene and located a juvenile male suffering from life-threatening gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to a local area hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
Based upon our investigation, this appears to be a targeted incident. Police said they were following up all leads in an effort to identify the suspect. This remains an active investigation.

Lodi police have not released any new information, however, family and friends have identified the teen as Alan Ruiz, 15 of the city of Pittsburg. A GoFundMe has been launched — click here
