4,000 Without Power After Vehicle Crash in Pittsburg

A vehicle crash knocked out power to 4,058 PG&E customers in the City of Pittsburg Sunday night after a vehicle struck a pole.

The incident occurred at 7:25 pm in the 2500 block of Harbor Street, near Small World Park. The knocked out power to several blocks according to Pittsburg Police who shut down the area. North and southbound lanes are closed of between Atlantic Avenue and E. Leland Road. Eastbound lanes are blocked at Presidio lane.

Contra Costa County Fire arrived on scene to a report of a pole down and wires in the roadway.

As of 3:00 am Monday, PG&E has restored power to all but 3 customers.
