The Pittsburg Police Department is investigation a fatal vehicle crash Tuesday night in the City of Pittsburg.
The vehicle versus pedestrian crash occurred at approximently 7:14 pm at Stoneman Avenue at Briarcliff Drive where Contra Costa County Fire Protection District and AMR were dispatched.
No other information was released.

This evening, Officers were dispatched to the area of Stoneman Avenue at Briarcliff Drive for the report of a traffic collision. Officers located a traffic collision scene in the intersection just outside of Black Diamond High School.
Officers began and are currently investigating a fatal traffic collision in regards to a vehicle vs. pedestrian.
The roadways of the above mentioned location will continue to be closed for an extensive amount of time as we process the scene and continue investigating. Please continue to avoid the area and utilize alternative routes.
