Vehicle Crashes into Antioch Post Office

On Thursday, the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District responded to the Antioch Post Office after a vehicle made entry into the building.

The incident happened at 8:40 am in the 2700 block of W Tregallas Road when an elderly female hopped the curb and went through a bush and through the glass of the building before coming to a stop at the mailboxes. No injuries were reported.

The building was structurally sound and only glass was destroyed with other minor damages to the building. It did not appear to effect other services at the Post Office.

No other information was available. The Antioch Police Department was on scene to take a report and provide traffic control during the incident.
